I'm so far behind on this blog! So much we've done. Well Star water and Nugent drilling came in, one nasty, rainy day, and installed a submersible pump, updated the lines, and capped off the well. So nice to have this done. No pics. Flooring, sheetrock, HVAC is all moving along and getting scheduled in. Ron, Rick, and Dad are prepping everything so Tony Frey can do the drywall. We're doing basically everything. In the bedrooms, they might be able to just mud over the tape and tidy up the walls, or may just cover like we're doing elsewhere. Wood Floors: Rabi/Midvalley will be doing the wood floors and is scheduled to start early December. Jose will start on the HVAC after that. Bathroom : The Bathroom has disappeared. Nothing but joists and studs. Sad to see the cast iron tub go. I would keep it if it were not green. Just can't do the green! We may try to keep the vanity if we can spruce it up enough and recover the formica. Otherwise it gets replaced too. Guess it...

I haven't written a post on the bathroom yet. Like the rest of the house, it's in the beginning demo stages, with no clear plan at the moment. We'll have to see what needs replaced, patched, or saved. But here's the status so far. Before: Removed the paneling. I wish I could remember what the tile looked like. Gotta love that Avacado Green!

The plan was to start removing the paneling. I didn't think we'd get that finished and move onto other demo, but the paneling came down rather easily. Very little damage to walls or paneling. Bob was able to salvage a lot of the paneling for his future projects. Before After  Sunroom I said there was a doorway. Didn't I say there was a doorway!? Living/Dining before after  Avacado! Next we started pulling the carpet. We also got the paneling out of the bathroom as well. All and all we got a massive amount done. Very successful weekend. Today we met with Scott to look at some HVAC options. Feeling good about everything. Just wish the probate would finalize so we can move onto the biggies!

I have been giving Ron more than his fair share of harassment with regards to The Princess and her baths. He really does have a method to his madness, something he heard from a coworker who rides. How to wash The Princess in three easy steps: Hey! I write this kind of tripe...er, information at work all the time!   1. Rinse the bike with water 2.  Spray with a mixture of Simple Green cleaner - don't let it dry. Heavy duty, Industrial strength,  royal-sized, Princess sprayer. Oh God, I hope I'm not next! 3. Rinse with water to remove soap. The bugs just flow off the windshield! (Okay four easy steps)...If you're so inclined, sponge off the shiny bits as not all dirt residue is removed by the three step process. flowery, artsy, glam shot It takes about 10 minutes to bathe The Princess.
